2. Then use the dropdown menus or left-hand side navigation to narrow your result by sub-category.


Try entering a keyword, phrase or item number into the Search box at the top right of any page, then click the magnifying glass icon.

How do I place an order online?

Browse our website using the top navigation bar to select the product you wish to purchase. After selecting your product options such as color or size (if applicable) click the "Add to Cart" button and your item will be added to your virtual shopping cart. When you are ready, go to your shopping cart and follow the instructions to check-out. To view your order status, sign in to your account and review the complete Order History of all your The Bella Cottage Orders. Don't have an account? Register now.

How do I determine the shipping charges on my order?

We offer different shipping services depending on the size of the product.. See our Shipping Policy for more details.

Will you charge sales tax on my order?

Bella Cottage Customers pay NO SALES TAX on all orders shipped out of the state of California. If your order is picked up or shipped to a location in California we do have to charge 9% sales tax.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept the following:

Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are acceptable for domestic and international orders.

At this time we cannot accept cash, CODs, checks, money orders, or gift certificates for online purchases (but are accepted for in-store purchases). If you would like to pay with a gift certificate please call us at 1-818-830-9700.

How do I know if ordering online is secure?

At The Bella, protecting your information is a priority.

We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt your credit card number, name and address, so only The Bella is able to decode your information.

To be sure your connection is secure, look at the bottom status bar or URL bar of your browser window. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser) the SSL is active and your information is secure. Most browsers offer additional security alerts, as well.

With regard to overall security, we always use industry standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving data exchanged with our site. The facilities that house our servers are physically secured to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of all data and information collected.

Can you gift-wrap my order?

At this time, the service is not offered.

Can I make changes to my order after my order has been placed?

You can certainly call us within 24 hours of placing your order to arrange for an adjustment to your purchase. Any additional items added to your order will adjust the total cost and shipping and will need to be charged accordingly. However, once an order has been shipped, we can no longer honor any changes to your purchase.

How do I use a promotion code?

We like to reward our customers with special promotional offers. Available promotions will be indicated on relevant pages of our website.

Applying a Promotion

Promotion Code: You may qualify for a promotion that is associated with a specific code. To retrieve your gift, enter the code in the Promotion Code field on the checkout page during the checkout process. Click Apply Promo. Promotion codes are not case sensitive.

Automatic: Many promotions do not require a promotion code. The promotion will automatically be added to your order during the checkout process.

Promotion Restrictions

Can I return or exchange my purchase if I don't like it?

Yes. For home decor or accessories (except custom pieces), you'll need to contact us.

Why is my item on backorder?

Items that are not available to ship when an order is placed are on backorder and will ship at a later date. Please note that while your credit card will be authorized and charged on the date your order is placed. We will provide you with an approximate ship date for your item(s) at the time you make your selection. Please be aware that backorder dates are approximate and subject to change. We will inform you by e-mail if this date changes.

How do I change my e-mail address?

You can update your e-mail address for order correspondence, promotional messages, or both by logging into your account.

For order correspondence e-mails:

You can change your order correspondence e-mail address every time you order from us. This is located on your form during Checkout.

For promotional e-mails, your address is found on Your Account page.

Does The Bella participate in pop-up advertising?

No, The Bella does not participate in pop-up advertising. If you are seeing pop-up ads on your computer screen, it is most likely due to an Ad Ware program installed on your hard drive. Many of these programs are designed to install themselves with little to no warning while you browse shopping, coupon and music websites.
